Long Tail Audio LLC continues its relationships with both The Metropolitan Opera and Sony Masterworks in restoring and remastering recordings of Met performances being released by Sony Masterworks. The Metropolitan Opera coordinates with Long Tail Audio LLC in the production, mastering and metadata capture for James Levine's 40th Anniversary CD and DVD box sets. June 2009 Sony Masterworks enlists Long Tail Audio LLC to assist in a 90 CD Yo-Yo Ma retrospective box set: "30 Years Out Of The Box". Long Tail Audio LLC developed a production tracking database to aid in the workflow process and oversaw the creation and upload of some 42 CDs. The title is due to be released in 2010. The Metropolitan Opera has tapped Long Tail Audio to restore sources and master the Metropolitan Opera's 125th Anniversary CD. Producer Grace Row has worked closely with engineers I-Hua Tseng and Andreas Meyer of Meyer-Media on the project. The CD will be released commercially.
The Metropolitan Opera has entrusted Long Tail Audio LLC to restore and revive the legendary 75-year broadcast history of the The Metropolitan Opera. These restorations have been utilized for Sirius Satellite Radio's Met Opera channel, Rhapsody's on-demand digital music service and are being ingested into The Metropolitan Opera's in house network system.

The Unites States Air Force Band (Bolling AFB,DC) has begun what will be an ongoing project to digitize their catalog. This catalog predates the United States Air Force's creation, includes the Army Air Force Band and the tenure of Glen Miller. The digitized/restored material will be used for various historic compilations.
